I am building an appliance to deposit food products such as jam, butter icing, cake mixes. It will be driven by a motor operating a rack and pinion. On the end of a rack will be a piston that will very slowly move down the inside of a cylinder containing the food material which will be deposited out of the bottom of the cylinder through a much narrower pipe.
