Short Manga Translation

Hello there, as an avid manga fan, I am very much interested in your project. When I was 12, I already had a collection of more than 1000 manga books. I am bidding for a nominal fee of $1 per page, the $5 you see on top of that is the fee for freelancer.com. I get to earn a little something, and I get to do what I love at the same time, what's not to like? I am a native Chinese speaker, with 14 years in education where English was the medium employed in my curriculum. I understand that humor is a very huge part of manga, so while some humor can be universal, I believe written humor has to be localized. Therefore, if I do get this job, I hope that after I do my translation, we would be able to communicate and find out if the humor works for you and your target audience. Humor is essential for me personally when it comes to manga, with the right humor, I am willing to follow the manga for years on end, so hopefully we'll be able to collaborate on this.
