I need postfix setup (/etc/postfix/) so that my server can send messages to ProofPoint SmartHost TLS with Authentication. I need any emails from the linux server to use this setup and simply pass the message to the smarthost for delivery. I also need to have command sending working as well like this... sudo echo "TEST" | mail -s "TEST MESSAGE" <email address here> I have this working with TLS but without authentication with a different smarthost but cannot get it to work with ProofPoint.
Hello, I need a hand making a full install of Odoo v14 on our new server. I am familiar with Odoo. But I always have issues setting up the reverse proxy and nginx. Also the letsencrypt and I don't want to have issues with the mail and postfix. This has to happen today on 2/1/23 at GMT +1 Brussels time at 12:00 So I need a helping hand while we do the whole . Budget 40 EUR!!! Please don't post a bid that is higher, I am qualified to install Odoo v14 and have done so 2 timed before. We use Docker and Postfix to host a variety of websites. We have migrated to a new server, and it is giving us a hard time getting email to send from a specific docker container. All other docker containers email from postfix fine - except this one, which is a basic PHP / Lamp site. I can not seem to figure it out, and I have been working on it several days. The exact same container worked to send email on our old server for years. I need someone more versed in Linux servers, Postfix, and Docker to assist.

On a Linux webserver running Webmin and Postfix, mail routing is broken. Outbound mail is not reaching recipients. Server is self hosted. I have a new ubuntu server that hosts a few websites. Been trying to get postfix and/or sendmail to relay emails without success. Keep getting errors that I do not know how to resolve.
We have an Azure VM running CentOS managed using Plesk with Roundcube as the mail editor. We need to have SMTP forwarding to Sendgrid via their SMPT API on port 587and the necessary DNS records installed/modified. The login data needs putting into a file sasl_passwd on the server so that postfix forwards the outgoing email to the Sendgrid SMTP server, smtp.sendgrid.net. Access would be remote on my PC as I can access the various logins easier than handing out a bunch of passwords, I can give root access via putty.
We need an expert in email configuration to setup automatic configuration of IMAP and SMTP so that when a new email is configured on one of our domains, the end user just has to enter their email address and password and all the IMAP & SMTP settings are automatically pulled into the mail client. We have full control over our email servers (Postfix & Dovecot) and full control over the DNS for the domains. We can also setup a web server if that is required to serve the config information. This needs to work with as many email clients as possible, but as an absolute minimum it must work with Apple iOS, Apple MACOS (Mac Mail), Outlook 365 mail client, Windows mail and Thunderbird.
I have set up Webmin on a Ubuntu 18.04 VM for testing Postfix and Dovecot. Mail send/receive is not happening, perhaps due to a certificate/TLS issue?? I have already downloaded Let's Encrypt SSL into the VM. I am looking for a few minutes with somebody who often configures this kind of setup so that you would know where to look straight away. Looking for a experienced Linux admin to recover a remote linux instace that is not booting. We are able to boot into revovery mode to identify blocking issues which need to be fixed and the original system rebooted. Once rebooted we will need to install the SSL certificate for dovecot and postfix to operate.
We are setting up a Dovecot mailserver with Mail Crypt plugin for email encryption. We have set up per-user encryption, emails are getting encrypted, can be sent and received. However, webmail (we use SOGO) is unable to decrypt emails. We suspect that there is an issue with the passwords, respectively they are not being passed to webmail or this is being done incorrectly. Passwords are being stored in a mysql database. We need to fix this issue and make webmail read/show encrypted emails.

I have a Debian Squeeze system running Dovecot 1.2.15 Postfix 2.7.1 PostgreSQL 8.4.22 Saslauthd 2.1.23 I need you to migrate the 47 domains (there are 21 additional domains that are mine, that are just aliases; a few of the 47 domains are just aliases as well) with 612 email accounts to an up-to-date Debian (stable) system. The source system uses mbox format and the new system will use maildir, so the files can't simply be rsynced, but need to be copied via imapsync or a similar tool. It will probably be the best idea to move one domain at a time and evaluate whether the users are happy, etc. Once a domain or two is successful, the rest could go faster. It will probably make sense to do an initial sync and make sure that it looks pretty good, and then I'll turn...
