However, there are problems when trying to establish connection if the client is in private lan. Ex: his Public IP (or the ip of the router) is but his Lan IP is 192.168.2.2. So I get the error "Thu Feb 14 11:26:33 2008 CLIENT1/ MULTI: bad source address from client [], packet dropped". Hello, I am looking for someone to assist me in making stable connection windows-linux type for OpenVPN. My current stage of the installation is that I can connect, I can ping both side, I can browse Internet through the server. However, I get error: " MULTI: bad source address from client" and the VPN didn't worked on a friend's computer I tried on. His connection was ADSL behind a router. Say I am on a machine I want to be able to ping and have it routed through the hamachi connection. We need to use the hamachi solution because opening ports on the firewall is not an option, so things like OpenVPN are out of the questions. In order for this project to be complete I would need to 2 vitual machines that would run using vmWare (one on each machine on each network) that would bridge the networks through the hamachi connection and using monowall(or other sofware based router).
