I already have a library that performs some kind of (very simple) analysis with data that are received trought 2 comm ports and 2 A/D converters. Data from streams are put in buffers from where analysis is done. This is done in a sequential mode but I want to improve this way introducing events and threads. Consequently a new routine have to be developped. The routine is in C in a dll, W2K O.S. Data from the comm ports comes in messages with a format. Very easy to understand. I have written a small embedded application using Two (2) Atmel AT90S2313 chips, and would like to redo the project, and hopefully replace both of these cpu's with a single PIC. I used the Atmel chips with a Basic Compiler, because I didn't know how to make a PIC communicate at the odd communications settings I need. I need to transmit on TWO DIFFERENT PINS, and receive ON TWO DIFFERENT PINS using: 38400 baud,Odd parity,8 data bits, 1 stop bit.
