Move a Wordpress website from subfolder to top level domain

I currently have a Wordpress website that is on a subdomain (subfolder) and we put a temporary fix in place so that the full website remains in the subfolder but the website loads top level. However, at this time I would like the website fully moved from subdomain (subfolder) to the top level. For example: The current Wordpress sits at [login to view URL] (<-- just an example) and we need it to be moved from the /folder/ to top level: [login to view URL] (<-- just an example). This should be a very easy project for someone who has experience with Wordpress.
