Website and Database Redesign

Casual Trainers is a new Australian company working to place trainers with training organisations on a short term or contract basis. In order to expand the company, we require our existing website (FTP files provided to successful applicant) to be modified to allow training companies to search through our trainers to review the staff that we have available. We will also require the backing database for our staff to enter in the details of our trainers. Therefore, this project requires the successful bidder to complete the following tasks: 1. Design a database to store all details of our trainers. It can be in any format (we are generally familiar with Microsoft access however if there is a better format then please suggest one), but it needs to be easy to use, able to store several hundred staff profiles, have the capacity to attach a word or PDF resume to each trainers entry in the database, and be able to export searches with set criteria to either an external report for printing, or directly to the website. For example, the admin team need to be able to run a search for all trainers in the database living in Brisbane, with a Diploma in Business, and find all their contact details. 2. Once the database is built, we need additional pages built that allow organisations to be able to click on a link to the state, the click a link to a qualification level, and then see a list of available trainers and their qualifications. We do not want them to see the trainers name however as this compromises our business model. These need to have a similar look and feel to our existing pages which can be viewed at www.casualtrainers.com.au. There is likely to be some additional minor adjustments to the text in existing pages that we need made so a long term arrangement would likely be established with the successful bidder if they can complete the project to a high standard. Please note that an excellent standard of english will be required for this project to correctly interpret my requirements. Time is not as critical for the project, however value for money is important.
