Project for InOrder - help to launch odoo on the server

I have installed everything required for Odoo to run on my remote server, I have set up the order-server and [login to view URL] and created a postgres user 'openerp'. Now, this command sudo /etc/init.d/odoo-server start initiates the server [ ok ] Starting odoo-server (via systemctl): odoo-server.service. But when I type in the browser IP:8069 I get "500 Internal server error" The project is to resolve this issue and enable Odoo log-in page in the browser.
