I am looking for a winforms VB.NET 4.7+ application using DevExpress gridview to allow users to pick which data to use from a file. Attached is a sample of the data in the file. Initial load: Mainform = I need a gridview (can be one column), with some or all of the names from in the file. Functionality: When the user clicks a name in the grid, it will popup a form with a grid that contains data from a file that matches the name the user clicked on. If there is no match, then nothing will happen. The data for the grid will be concate as: LEFT_NAME.LEFT_EXTENSION = RIGHT_NAME.RIGHT_EXTENSION The data needs to be initial sorted by ORDER column, then combined name. In the data file, if there are rows with a number in the group column, all the rows with the same group number need to be combined with comma delimited and not listed as separate rows. For example: LEFT_NAME.LEFT_EXTENSION = RIGHT_NAME.RIGHT_EXTENSION, LEFT_NAME.LEFT_EXTENSION = RIGHT_NAME.RIGHT_EXTENSION Popup form = The user can select a row or multiple rows (ctrl/shift + click) The values for each of the column will be concatenated (same format as the group mentioned above) and put into a textbox in the MainForm. The grid is read only, user can not edit items. There will be a button 'ok' to use the selected row(s). or if doubleclick on a single row, it will use that row's info and hide/close the popup form. If close/hide and the user did not select anything, nothing happens. When bidding, please include "22" in your description to filter out scammers/fake bot posts. Max Bid: 30

hello We understand exactly what you are looking for in terms of a file data picker - a gridview with some or all of the names from the file that the user can select to open a form with data that matches the name. If there is no match, then nothing will happen. The data for the grid will be concatenated into one string and then initial sorted by order column before being used in the form. We also offer popup form functionality so that users can select rows or multiple rows without having to double click on them first. This saves time so end users don't have to wait while the application processes their selection. We also offer ok button functionality so that users can use selected rows immediately without having to close/hide the popup form first.
