Hello. I am from the Philippines and am a native Tagalog speaker, but I can also be considered to be a native English speaker. I am extremely fluent in English because it is taught in our schools starting in preschool and throughout all educational levels. It is also the medium of instruction for scientific and mathematical subjects. As such, I feel I would be able to provide you with accurate Tagalog transcriptions and their corresponding English translations. I would like to offer my services to do this project.
I typically use Express Scribe transcription software and MS Word. The Tagalog transcription will be typed and then translated into English using proper word usage, grammar, spelling and punctuation. Turn around time for 1-1.5 hours of audio will be within 48 hours. Any requirement for formatting, spacing, fonts and time stamping will be complied with.
I realize that you specified that you require your contractor to be geographically located in California. If you require them to be with you at the time the interviews are conducted in order to act as an interpreter, then please disregard this bid. However, if you only require that the worker be able to listen to the interview, transcribe it and then make an English translation, then I would strongly feel that I am very qualified for this project and I would be very much willing to work with you.
