Please accept my resume as application for your transcription job. I have been doing online transcription for four years and in an office setting for 20+ years. I have all the needed hardware and software for your transcription. My turnaround time on files 30 minutes or less is four hours from the time of receipt of the sound file. On files of 30 - 60 minutes or more, the turnaround time is 24 hours from receipt of the audio file. My normal rate is $.50 per audio minute which extends out to $30.00 per audio hour. Please see the attached sheet for transcription options. I have worked as an administrative assistant/office manager (five years in a commercial real estate company), legal secretary (Associated General Contractors of CA), legal secretary (personal injury law firm - CA ), legal secretary (contract law - AZ). Hello, English is my first language, so I would say that I am an expert in both the written and verbal aspects of the vernacular. Being an American, I am also very well versed in our many dialects. I have been working in the freelance data entry field for over a year. I enjoy the predictability of this type of work. I have worked at two credit unions where I was constantly involved in customer service both in person and by phone. I have been doing web research and writing essays, reports, and articles for ten years. I have been a personal assistant for two real estate agents, so I am able to multitask and do whatever I am asked quickly. At these positions, I handled many inbound and outbound calls with important clients with absolutely no complaints. I continue to work for one of these agents on an as needed basis. Also, I have been told that I am a mindreader by these employers. Everyone else says I am very perceptive and don't miss a thing. I am currently working for a company transcribing and proofreading. As it normally takes four hours to transcribe one hour of audio (industry average), I will do this assignment for $30 total. I have always been passionate about spelling and grammar. I have very good headphones and am excellent at understanding accents. I know that this position is something that I would excel at as well as enjoy.
