My Client sends thousands of email from his dedicated server but some users complain that they don't receive the emails. After reviewing the situation with the hosts we found that it can be an issue with configuration of SMTP server.
They recommend that remote SMTP servers may limit you (ie. bellsouth), based on the IP address and frequency at which you send mail. These issues would be experienced on any server on the internet where you are sending bulk mail from a single IP. There are ways around this but they become complex and you may need to visit oDesk and find a reputable vendor to install such methods for you. Such methods are
* Configure Exim to use a DKIM Proxy
* Configure Exim to use a list of IP addresses to send mail out on.
