Social Media Coordinator with some branding experience

We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our team. As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a Social Media strategy for TWO accounts in order to: • launch both brands on Instagram & Facebook • increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts • create “buzz” around the two brands Key duties: • Develop, implement and manage a social media strategy in line with brands’ key objectives • Define most important social media KPIs • Manage and oversee social media content • Measure the success of every social media campaign • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies • Use social media marketing tools, such as Buffer • Use copywriting to ensure content is informative and appealing • Collaborate with owner to ensure content stays on brand and on message • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization • As needed, communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network • Provide constructive feedback An ideal candidate will have: • 2+ years of experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role and/or completed college coursework with a proven portfolio of work • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research • Good understanding of social media KPIs • Familiarity with web design and publishing • Excellent multitasking skills • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills • Team player • Good time-management skills • Creative thinking, good understanding of the market trends • Outstanding leadership, communication, and analytical skills • Ability to generate new concepts/ideas • Ability to work from home An AMAZING candidate will also have branding experience, including the following skills: • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator • The ability to create and design a branding suite including: logo, sub logo, Facebook covers and Instagram templates, Instagram highlight icons, profile pictures, and email signatures for 2 brands This is a part-time, assignment-based and temporary position. Pay is $15/hour as a 1099 employee. Hours shall be no less than 10 and no more than 30/month. Needs will be evaluated prior to each month as employer cannot guarantee hours.
