Custom Coding on Shopify Page Templates We are looking for a Shopify developer who can make functionality changes to our Shopify Plus website within a week. Business Objectives and Project Goals: -Add custom coding to Item Page and Collection Page templates that will accomplish 2 goals: 1) recognize customers location (either state or zip code) and 2) update the product/collection page on the front-end to block add-to-cart + checkout if item is not available at the fulfillment location nearest to the customer Specific Functions We Need: -Recognizing customer locations: -We will prompt a customer to input their zip code via a modal screen. -Example: [login to view URL] -Recalling location-based inventory info: -After customer enters their zipcode or state, the front-end automatically updates via custom coding. We will build some sort of logic/liquid snippet that recognizes the customer's location and determines the nearest fulfillment center. If any items are not available at the nearest locations, then the Add-to-Cart and Checkout options will be unavailable (blocked or greyed-out) Page templates to update: -Item Page -Collection Page Ideal Skills and Experience: - Strong proficiency in Shopify development and liquid programming language - Extensive experience in customizing Shopify page templates - Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Ability to understand and interpret client requirements - Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines If you have the necessary skills and experience to make functionality changes to Shopify page templates, please submit your proposal along with examples of similar projects you have worked on.
