Description: I am in search of a skilled Python developer to develop a script that can retrieve historical data for gold prices from a specified API ([login to view URL]), perform simple mathematical analysis, generate graphs to visualise the data, and export the graphs in PNG format. Skills Required: - Proficiency in Python programming - Experience working with APIs - Knowledge of data manipulation and storage - Familiarity with graphing libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Plotly, whichever is most suitable) - Ability to implement mathematical equations for data analysis - Experience in exporting graphs to PNG format Technical Requirements: - Develop a Python script to connect to the API, retrieve historical gold price data, and store it in a structured format - Implement graphing functionality to visualise the historical price data - Incorporate simple mathematical equations for basic analysis (calculating averages, averages excluding certain years, etc.) - There’s 6 different - Overlay current year’s data and the averaged data on the same x axis. - Enable exporting of graphs in PNG format and logical naming convention If you possess the necessary skills and can meet these requirements, please submit your proposal detailing estimated timeline, and cost. Please allow for a 5-10 minute phone/video call to go through the project requirements and familiarise ourselves. This is a research task and the speed to write this code is less important. I have completed this in other software but now need live data. The full list of output graphs is in the screenshot attached. An example of the required graphs is also attached.
