I am a middle school science teacher, and I want to make a series of products for my students to help with their science learning. For the first product, I've built a functional, but completely hideous prototype out of upcycled materials and the circuitry is on a prototyping board. I'd like a consultation with someone who would be able to help me go from my hideous prototype to a real prototype that I can test with a small group of students, then make adjustments, then manufacture class sets of it. Then we can always go from there. If kids like it, then perhaps their parents would buy one, but I don't see this being a money maker, so I am looking for an avenue to produce and manufacture prototypes and real products as inexpensively as possible. I have no idea where to go from here, but from what I've read, I need a product designer to help with the final, non-hideous design, and that would potentially involve ideation and market research? Then I'd need help with CAD and then whatever comes after that!

Also, I don't think CAD is really necessary and old school plans and drawings can be great as long as one sticks to off the shelf materials and simple operations.
