Greetings from Perth! My name is Bryce and I'm an external student at RMIT University, studying computer science and website design/development. I'm quite familiar with Wordpress and MySQL databases, and am able to mysqldump the data out of your database to an sql file for backup, as well as zip up the Wordpress install so we can roll back any changes. Then I will perform the update and see if the site responds normally. If not, I can roll back the changes or figure out what the issues are. I will perform the wordpress update for you. Sounds as if you are unable to use the automated upgrade feature so I will do so manually. I have done this dozens of times in the past, it will take about 15 minutes.
