JS visitors tracking code

I need someone experienced in JS to develop a script that will track: 1. track each user in details 2. insert that info into db, the REST API pages will be done by someone else. so the task is just to pass the info. 3. this code be able to pass information back to the user interface - trigger pop ups for example. What I need is strictly the coding part, no need to do design and other stuff.
