I need a serious programmer with great PHP/MySQL skills to make changes to custom content management system for my client's website. The site is [login to view URL] (you will need a username and password to login). We need to fix the way Admins are able to upload files, and edit and delete files/folders. Currently the way we upload files is very difficult and time-consuming. It is by way of drop down menus until you reach the desired folder path. This is very time consuming (see "image 1"). What we would like to do is to have the ability of Editing and Deleting folders, categories and files, and the ability to upload files within the file view (please see my mockup called "image 2." - this is just a mockup for the folder view). Ideally, we would like to have a drag and drop functionality.

Hello, I've taken a close Look at what you require, And I have recently done almost the exact same thing for one of my websites, I have a few Ideas about how to make this alot easier for you, The First Is for the Manage Files, My Approach would be to simply have a search and results in Alphabetical order for all of the uploaded files, And Once you have found the files you would like to edit you can simply click on edit and a small Edit Pop Up will appear where you can rename the files/ Change description etc.

I can't find Image2 so I don't know how drag and drop functionality work to add edit and delete files. But I suggest you to create Tree Structure and at every node (it could be Folder or File) you can perform actions. My first task to provide you optimum way to Manager Files and if required need to change database
