I'm a web developer from Winnipeg, Canada. I have over fifteen years of experience in HTML, PHP, and JavaScript.
There are two ways I usually implement pagination:
1. Standard (traditional) PHP pagination with page loads, where I increment the query results. All in PHP and HTML, no JavaScript/JQuery required.
2. JQuery Ajaxified page loads; I create an API-style call and return JSON to the initial page, then dynamically build the results. This looks great on mobile, where page loads often appear more glaring than with desktop.
The tool I use would depend mostly on what the existing site is like and how the underlying PHP/SQL result is organized, but if you had a preference I could use that to make the call.
I'd love to discuss this project further.
Thanks.
