Generate GIF previews/JPEG thumbnail with ffmpeg with reasonable quality for mp4 videos and gifs

- Description:

We have gif or mp4 links and these media files will be used in mobile applications. We want to optimize gif files to be streamed faster. And for video we want to generate gif preview and jpeg thumbnail.

- Output expected:

Docker container that can be run with the solution provided

PHP script that takes either gif or mp4 video as an input

Output in case of the gif input is an optimized gif file

For video the output should be a gif preview image for the video (not the full video to gif)

In addition to the gif, a jepg thumbnail should be generated from the first frame of the video with two sizes (first one = 768, second one = 1024) based on the largest dimension.

Generate a json file with the input and output metadata for example: input length, height/width, aspect ratio, output length and output path

Better alternatives are welcomed, current docker file attached with the post. No need to upload/download any files as part of this, you can use a sample files to achieve the task.
