You cannot just access "any" data from any device. Most devices have some protocol set which could be public or proprietory. Which means they don't just send "hello, I am here", they may send "Start|ANSK@(22003mskk388|End" or something else besides the standard TCP protocol commands which will need to be converted. Without knowing the method to convert, the data cannot be read. Having said that, you just need a server that will accept some data on some IP and port and save it, that can be done.
