Rework SEO and SEM of Existing Site

Current site ([login to view URL]) is getting some traffic but not enough targeted traffic. It is a highly competitive market and I need help with SEO of the site pages and general make over of the site.
Looking for suggestions, options and a plan from experienced SEO/SEM that can improve the site traffic and conversions.
If this works out I have several other sites that are in need of a makeover. Most have been up for 6 months or so and now need to be made into working, viable sites.
## Deliverables
Looking to increase targeted traffic that can be converted. Site is not currently generating the traffic and results this particular niche market is capable of generating.
I am open to all suggestions including content, SEM, SEO and any other options. As I have many other sites as well, this could turn into a long term relationship if it works.
Once this is completed will be looking for Article/Blog assistance for continued support and traffic.
