SMS text Interface

To Assist in Design and Implentation of a SMS Text message GUI that interacts with the API service See site here for links to documentation: [login to view URL] The Program will require a GUI and Database for storing both outgoing and incoming text SMS's. It will also need to handle real time reporting and tracking of Delivery reciepts/reports in real time (this data is supplied by the vendor tmcsms) It will also have to handle and interpret data from recieved messages. For the purpose of storing the data in the correct location(s) The Preferred Database is MSSQL The program will have to be scalable to handle as few as one recipient of sms as well as many 1000s. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. We need to be able to issue specific instructions to each of the Individuals and process all replies. The System would handle responses from each of the individuals - The exact syntax for responses will be developed during testing. The user would need to be kept up to date (in real time) with the following; 1. Exact time of when each message was sent. (this is easily tracked) 2. Exact time of when each user recieved the message (in my experience the delivery reports do not include the time when the message(s) are updated to "delivered" thus I believe the program would have to constantly "refresh" or call for the info - and the exact delivery time would be worked out by the program) 3. Very important that any recipients that have not recieved a message would need to be flagged and the user alerted. 4. handling the responses from each recipient and storing the data in the right format. The current fields would need to be: [login to view URL] of Event, [login to view URL], Item #, [login to view URL] Name, [login to view URL] Price, [login to view URL] (to purchase in £ pounds). A GUI would also need to do some basic analysis 5. The system would then collate this data in the defined format (that will be subject to change, as testing will probably necessitate changes.) Time of Event, Venue, Item Name, Total Amount Spent, Avg Item price, 6. SQL Server and C# .net2 are preferred I would like the program to be Desktop based. But I am open to suggestions .. (what advantages are there to making it a web based app?) I have a very rough idea of what the GUI might look like (I am happy to take on board any suggestions). - see attached for something I whipped up in paint quickly. The idea is that I would first add the list of recipients, and press a "send" button. As each message is reported as "delivered" each name would disappear from the Top box and appear in the "delivered" box. Then when each recipient sends a reply, it would interpret and collate the totals and remove the recipient from the "deliviered" box to the place it in the "responded" or "replied" box (3rd box down) I hope this makes things a little clearer Thanks ## Platform Windows XP 32 bit Windows XP 64 bit Vista
