I have a issue with my facebook sharing option on my website., this is the code I'm using for the facebook share currently. In the html I have elements with a specified class and a set of data attributes for various pieces in the share. When clicked, the following command is run:
var data = {
method: 'feed',
link: $(this).data('link'),
name: $(this).data('name'),
caption: $(this).data('caption'),
description: $(this).data('description'),
picture: $(this).data('picture'),
message: $(this).data('message')
};
[login to view URL](function(response) {
if ([login to view URL] === 'connected') {
[login to view URL](data);
}
else{
login(function(){
[login to view URL](data);
});
}
});
Currently this works to post to the wall, but I haven't yet found a way to simulate the share method which results in a large picture, similar to if a user posts a single picture to their own feed via facebook. We can request additional permissions if necessary. I need some help making the image much larger when it is shared on facebook... Let me know if you can assist me. please type facebook in the subject line when replying. Thanks
