*** Please see new Zip file w/ additional specs/info. *** Develop preferrably Linux & MySQL based application including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and a couple of very custom modules. Prefer (in no particular order) PHP, Visual Basic, UniVerse/UniData/Pick, or Magic ([login to view URL]) Would very, very much appreciate bids no later than Sunday night midnight Los Angeles, CA, USA time. Am open to other than Linux and other than MySQL and other languages, but extra points will be awarded for staying with the ideal/preferred tools. Preliminary sample tables are in uploaded Access 97 database (see [login to view URL]). `_SPECS` Table contains Word 97 narrative preliminary requirements and specifications document which is 90+% complete and correct. The more you are going to vary from the specs I provided, the more detail I want. I give a great deal of weight to the initial description of your proposed effort. You lose major points for giving me a non-specific generic "We are the best...we can do your job for XXX" or something like that. Extra points for supplying me w/ data on similar projects (how similar in complexity, how similar in size, what was actual cost and actual development time). Your suggestions and recommendations are also welcome.
## Deliverables
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Reasonble documentation so that any programmer already competant in the tools and languages of the final environment would be helped in maintaining the system. Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
## Platform
Prefer Linux (RH 7.x ideal) & MySQL 3.23+. Languages preferred (in no particular order): PHP, Visual Basic 6.0, Pick (Universe/UniData/DB2), Magic (www.magicsoftware.com-esp ver 9, but 8.3 also OK)
## Deadline information
Please try, if possible, to have at least preliminary bid (which may be refined later) to me by 9am USA West Coast (Los Angeles) Monday, April 29, 2002. You will NOT be disqualified if you can't make this deadline, but you might get extra points.
