Select text in richtextbox

My RichTextBox contains lines of text with return after each:
line one
line two
line three
line four
etc
When curso is at beginning of a line, I need to advance to the beinning of the next line and select that line.
Can NOT use SendKeys (currently using, but Vista changed how they work). This WAS working:
SendKeys "+{down}", True
## Deliverables
I need the Visual Basic version 6 to do this.
Will need sample of using this.
VB6 program with one RichText Box and a button which illustrates this working.
## Platform
Must work with all versions of windows, including vista.
