Provide option to display a Recordset

I have a function that creates a temporary recordset by checking whether a field on the current form has a matching field in a different table. If there is a matching field, the function returns true, otherwise it returns false. Presently, my form simply changes the background color of the field on the form when the function returns true. What I would like to do is provide the user with the option to view the complete contents of the temporary recordset, if they so choose. For example, if the user notices that the field has changed color, they should be able to double-click the field to be able to display the temporary recordset and view all fields of the matching record in the other table.
