Automated Printing

I currently have an application that automates Excel to generate reports overnight. Each report includes a header and a footer and consists of one to many pages. In addition, the application automates Word to generate several letter/envelopes or post cards. The content along with an XML file is zipped up and placed on an FTP site for the user to download when they are ready. The content is brought down to the client PC for printing when a user accesses a web page that contains an ActiveX control. The ActiveX control downloads the generated content an automates Word and Excel to print the content. This solution requires the user to have Word and Excel on their PC. I would like for someone to modify the current solution so that the user does not require Word and Excel on their PC in order to print the content. The client's printers have power-envelope feeders and multiple trays. One tray contains letterhead and the other contains plain paper. The solution should have the ability to send the reports to one tray and the letters to another tray. The tray configuration should take place one time. The current solution is written in Visual Basic 6.0. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform The content is generated on a Windows 2000 Advanced Server and is accessed via Internet Explorer.
