Wordpress comment Sync Script I have two Wordpress databses: dbA, dbB. Both databases contain all the same blog posts. dbA has been live for users to comment on the posts while dbB was “forked” for active development and is missing all the comments since importing the blog posts into it (using Wordpress Importer). Unfortunately, dbB’s post ID’s are not in sync with dbA. Thus, I need a script to match comments to posts between both databases by using post_name and then insert the comments into dbB using the updated comment_post_ID. The script should ignore comments that are trashed or marked as spam. Also, the script needs to ensure that we aren’t inserting duplicate comments. Both blogs are running WP 3.4.2.
