linux script.

Looking for a simple script that can be activated when the screensaver comes on or goes blank/idle. It then pulls and runs a command from a online database, has the current job/command displayed to the user before it then continues on with running the user defined screensaver settings. Must be relatively easy to add to the database. deb, rpm, packages required. basic script installer also required package/script should initially install the main script, icon/menu item which will activate the screensaver/script when clicked. relatively easy way to rebuild/update script/packages
