Simple Bookmaker Program

Require a simple programme probably using MS Access or MS Excel or OpenOffice equivalent. Data input comprises 3 digit and 2 digit numbers, input on a per agent basis and the interface for input must be simple and provide for very rapid input. Payout is based on draw of one three digit number and one two digit number and some numbers drawn will payout out on any combination of digits drawn. Software to provide analysis of bets placed in order to regulate risk reward parameters and provide report on numbers that need their bets to be laid off for optimum risk reward scenario. ## Deliverables There are basically five elements of bets in two groups. Group 1 is derived from a drawn number of three digits on which a a punter can bet on three digits coming up in order (i.e. if 123 is bet 123 must come up to win), or on a combination of the numbers (thus there are six bets if 123 is made, 123, 132, 213, 231, 312, 321) or can place a 2 digit bet on the last two digits of the three digit number drawn in precise order (thus 23 only would win if 023, 123, 223, 323 ..... 923 were drawn). Thus Group 1 has three seperate possible bets each with a different payout multiple based on the three digit number drawn. Group 2 comprises a seperate 2 digit number drawn on which a punter can bet either on the precise number coming up or the number coming up in any order again with different payouts. Following data input which has to be rapid as it is received under time constraint, and also has to allow for the different sets of numbers to be allocated to an agent number the data must be further analyzed. The data input process also requires sub-totalling of sets of numbers received in batches on a batch by batch basis for error checking and it would be useful to view the data entered and sub-totalling as it progresses. After the end of an agent's set of batched numbers being received a report should be available showing the numbers entered in the order entered complete with sub-totals and total on a per agent basis and on an overall basis for checking purposes mainly. Once data entry has been completed the numbers and total amounts bet need to be analyzed to produce a report on the worst case scenario of a number being drawn and suggest the amount by which any number that could potentially be drawn which would breach a user set limit would need to be reduced (laid off) in order to bring the bets within the parameters set. There should also be a facility to analyze the data to show a no lose situation and to produce a risk reward analysis from the data based on probabilities. The user set limit should be customizable as a multiple of total receipts after agents discount and laid off bets are accounted for OR a fixed amount OR a risk reward ratio The parameters which are not fixed but currently being used are as follows: precise 3 digit bet pays 600 x bet combination 3 digit bet pays 100 x bet 2 digit bet based on 3 digit number pays 75 x bet 2 digit bet on 2 digit number pays 75 x bet The discount offered to each agent must be customisable as some agents receive more than others. Once the user customisable parameters for the maximum payout are set the programme should produce a report showing all the numbers that need to be reduced to achieve the maximum payout or less. This report would be in two sections, one dealing with the bets on the 3 digit numbers and one dealing with the bets on the two digit numbers providing two sets of numbers and bets sizes that need adjustment.
