click through photography portfolio with using wordpress as CMS

I am looking to build a simple photography portfolio site, with a click through interface similar to the one seen on the following site. [login to view URL] I would like to be able to use wordpress for the content management of the photos and captions to avoid having to rewrite HTML each time new photos are added. I would love to hear your thoughts on how best this could be achieved. I will provide you with all photography and designs which will need to be replicated closely on the live site. This job also entails building a custom theme for a wordpress blog for the site as well. I will also provide you with exact design details.
