I am working on creating a new site, and am looking for someone to help me create a website template that I will be able to use throughout the site. A logo will also need to be designed.
By taking this job, you agree to create a logo for my site, and create a website template that would allow me to put in the code for each section later.
## Deliverables
This website will be coded in php, and as such any template made will need to be compatible with php. I would like CSS (cascading style sheets) to be used on the buttons that allow the user to navigate the site; this way, I will be able to change the text on these buttons very easily.
The color theme for the site would be white and varying shades of blue. Silver could also be used as well. To get a general idea of the color scheme that I’m interested in, you can look at skybook.com. If you can access the way the site looked last year, I much preferred their earlier color scheme to their current one. I liked the lighter way that it looked; if you can’t access the earlier color scheme of [login to view URL], just follow the general outline of the way skybook looks now, just with ‘lighter’ colors. The logo would necessarily need to flow with the color scheme.
An outline of the way the site is laid out in my mind will be given to the winning coder at the beginning of the project (I'd like to keep this between me and the winning coder only). This is open to change at the programmer/coder’s discretion, as long each section remains intact somewhere on the page.
You will NOT have to code the ‘guts’ of the site: the MYSQL database or sorting the info out and regurgitating it on the screen. All that you will need to take care of are the ‘aesthetics’ of the site: how it looks like on this page.
This template will need to have a static size on all screens, so I think 800x600 would be appropriate. I do not want this template changing sizes according to the specific screen resolution of one user.
## Platform
Needs to run in Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla Firefox, Linux - basically as many web browsers as possible.
