Store header template design with variation.

I need a header redesigned for a store and very slight variation of that same header to use in a different store. The header must include the store's logo, a search entry box, and a simple paged category list. The variation of this header will replace the paged category list with 4 drop down boxes that use Ajax. The paged category list must load data from a PHP array. and if the array is more than XXX number large it should have something like a (See More Categories) button that when pressed pages over to the next XXX number of categories. The php array will simply be created by mysql_fetch_array and will include the category's name and URL in each row. The array will be included by me. The search box will be included by me. I just hope to have it made to look better. The 4 drop down boxes will also be included by me. I just hope that they can be made to look better. Feel free to use any programing method to accomplish this but thee MUST be a version that search engines can read. The search engine version can be very simple. I can provide examples of the paged category box and show you the current websites in the PMB.
