"The last coder added the system where each fitment is designated a unique # which was then searchable. For some reason I ended up with numbers like A881-14-C4AC, I'm not sure if that has any significance but can we just revert to a simple number system ie 000423 or 223441. It seems overly complicated
Some people have different wheels front to rear. Currently manufacturer and model is tied to both, add these fields. Please make a system so the user doesn't have to enter the info twice. Perhaps the user just enters the data under front and it automatically comes up in the rear field (but greyed out so it cant be edited. The user would then have to check a box underneath that says 'Different from front' which would then make it editable
On the front page there is already a 'now archieving x fitments'. Make a new section called statistics. This should include
- Now archiving x fitments (already exists)
- Fitments for x different models (Car models which have 1 or more fitment, don't worry about the different years)
- x Registered users
Hero Picture
I tried to get the last programmer to set up a system where each fitment has 1 "hero" picture, this is the picture which should be shown on the front page on the javascript, it should also be the image that appears large by default when opening a fitment. It sort of works but needs some work. Try it out by uploading a fitment with 5 images, each one has UNSET and DELETE underneath, but for some reason it is possible for multiple pictures to be set as the hero picture. Here's how it should work:
- By default when multiple images are uploaded the first one is the 'hero' picture, all others are just normal images
- When a user wishes to change the hero picture they click 'Set as Default (currently set/unset) and that image is then the hero picture, the one which was previously the hero picture reverts back to normal
- Change Set/Unset text to 'Set as default' for images that are not the hero picture, and simply 'Default Image' for the hero picture, 'Default image' should not be a link just text
- Also the delete button works fine but can we add some sort of confirmation e.g. 'Are you sure you want to delete' or even better a tickbox next to each one and a delete button underneath. This way users can delete multiple at the same time and won't delete by accident
If I upload a fitment I get this Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/hondahor/public_html/[login to view URL] on line 383. Please look into this "
