Make a Business Database Searchable(repost)

We need to **make a business database (around 1 million listings) searchable and display the result on web**. There will be two search box: one is for searching company names or business categories, and another one for location of the companies. If address info, such as zip code, city or state, or phone area code, is provided by a visitor, the search result should be limited to those companies in a specific area defined by the term above. If no content is entered into the location box, the search result then covers the whole database. The database connection should be same as the newest version of osCommerce. Check the attachment. To take this project, you must 1) have experience at handling a large quantity of data and its search. 2) Show one or two specific demo directory sites you have done to prove you do have experience required. 3) Tell me your true understanding of this project. 4) You must have an excellent RAC rating. **This project may lead to further modifications with additional fees paid to the coder if the job is well down**. We'd like to lower our risk by dividing a bigger projects into several small projects. This is one of it. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
