Custom Google Maps API

I need a custom Google Map built into a website I'm currently building in Dreamweaver 8. I want something similar to what's found here: [login to view URL] I've attached a document to show details of what I'd like (using the map in the link above as an example). Basically, I'm starting a web-based gift certificate company and I want people to be able to search by location and return a number of gift certificates to local businesses in their area. They would then have the ability to link to add the item to a shopping cart or they can link to another page on my site where they fill in info to bid on it (name their highest price). I plan to use Paypal for the shopping cart; I'd just need the map feature from you. Also, I'd like to have a geocoding feature embedded, so I wouldn't need to enter lat/long. However, let me know if this may slow down loading the results with about 50 data points. If so, I'll go with entering lat/long per business so the response can be faster. I'd also need a php or xml file developed to link the information (not sure which is needed). Details on the php/xml file are in the attached example. ## Deliverables I'll need the code generated and the called out php or xml file. I will need assistance figuring out if XML or PHP would work better. That file should be developed with the columns mentioned at the bottom of the attached document. The map layout should be similar to that shown in the example and needs to contain the options and informatioin mentioned here and in the attachment. I will also require brief instructions on how to integrate this into my website (just copy/past code? Where does the php/xml file need to reside?...or does something need to be modified first?), and how I can edit it down the road and load to my active website (once it's up & running).
