Hi, I have a java application that uses jpcap and winpcap to sniff plain text transfers of all internet traffic. The application works fine.... however, I cannot get it to work over a VPN connection. I am pretty sure it is possible, though, according to the winpcap FAQ: [login to view URL] For anyone interested, I have attached the files necessary for testing. Instructions: 1. Download and install winpcap from site above. 2. Put jar in your classpath (you can download jar directly from jpcap website too, if you are worried about it) 3. Run ListDevices, to get the possible deviceIDs. 4. Run NetworkCapture using the device id you want to sniff. Over a normal (non VPN connection), this is typically your wireless card. You probably want to get it working on your regular connection first. For the VPN I'm not sure, but when I try using the dialup adapter I get a device wont open error. Deliverable is simply to get the program working over a VPN. That is, I should see plain text unencrypted output when I run it on a VPN. You'll have to put the two java files Windows VPN is run over the dialup connection; however, when I choose that
