Jobops Project – To develop an existing Integration component of Joombah Jobs to interegate and display Multiple External API data.

This project is to develop the current API integration component within a Joombah Jobs component in order that the component can interrogate external sites and display jobs within the Jobops website in a similar manner to its own jobs database. The requirement is that search results will display both internal Jobops database jobs and external API database jobs in the same jobs list. External Jobs will need to meet external rules around displaying jobs within the site and these can be found on the [login to view URL] and simply hired websites. When clicking on an external job if the user is not registered a request to register should be presented to the user. Only Jobops registered users should be able to see greater detail of the external API job postings. Jobs held within the Jobops database are available for non-registered users. When registered users click on an external job posting the pop up screen should be imbedded within the Jobops template giving the impression that the job is within the Jobops site. Reference will need to be given to the supplying API. It is important that the rules of both [login to view URL] and simply hired are adhered to and therefore job postings from external sites must display the required accreditation to the external site. It is currently the intention that recognition will be given by referencing external job posting as Jobops sponsored jobs by (Simply Hired as an example) Again this will need to meet the rules of the external provider. However, the accreditation should appear as an avatar against the individual job on the jobs list. Jobops database jobs will either show the recruiters avatar, or no avatar. The project also extends to the Joombah Modules of latest jobs and job list which will also need to interrogate the websites of [login to view URL] and simply hired. The development of this software needs to be sufficiently flexible that these links can be switched on and off for each module (search engine, job list etc) similar to what is currently available. An ooption to add multiple API codes should be available. Finally imbedded within the header will be a statement stating the number of jobs available to access through the site, this should show the total number of all jobops/indeed/simply hired jobs. The integration with external sites should align with their paid for clicks programs in order that income is captured for all traffic.
