The aim of this project is to create a proof of concept for a very simple and visual to create and edit the menu of a restaurant. For this project, we will be dealing only with one Item and its properties. That item can be asumed to exist. At this point there is no restriction as far as the database structure is concerned. Among the functions to be implemented: - Create new ingredient logical list - Create new groups - allow groups to be moved up or down. - provide a preview as well as a Option view etc This project is either for a flash or ajax/DHTML developer. ## Deliverables
========================================== More Info ========================================== 1. this will be for internal purposes, however I would want it to be web based. 2. Flow a- The first thing to remember is that this is not the complete process. We start by assuming that we have one item: Asian Salad. This project is entirely an exercise in finding a visual way to build options for the Asian Salad. b- The starting point is [login to view URL] You can assume all the elements(Name, Order, Price, Parent Group etc...) for Asian Salad are read only. The user will create new groups such as "Dressing", "Meats", "Default Ingredients" etc... Each group has a list of properties. The name property is a text box, editable directly however, all othe properties are dropdowns coming from look up tables. Example of look up tables are "Option List", "Pricing Schemes", "Group Types" Most Properties point to records of duples (Name/Record or Name Value). For example "Group Types" is table with 2 fields: Name, ID Some Properties point to a list of values. One important Properties is Option List. For example "Option List" for the group "Dressings" is "Group 1-Greens". "Group 1- Greens" in turn point to a list of Ingredients " Lettuce, Spinach, Green Peppers etc" c- The interface must have mechanism to create/edit/Add Properties (see [login to view URL]) d- The default "Item" View is the "Property View" however a more human friendly view is the "Preview" which list the Item along with the Item Groups and their Ingredients. e- There is no set mechanism for setting the order (or anything else at this point) however, ideally, the user should be able to use the up or down arrows or simply drag and drop a group from one spot to the other. =================================================== 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
