Website development and hosting

We are interested in receiving bids for the creation and hosting of a website, possibly 2. This website will be used in concert with a radio program. One of the sites We are interested in will be a classified advertising site named [[login to view URL]][1] (an example of our idea) We would like the individual advertisors of the items being advertised on the site to have the abillity of uploading up to 3 pictures directly to the site without needing us to personally place the ads into the site's pages. We want the ads to run 14 days then we would ideally like the program to automatically inform the advertisor that their ad is about to expire and give them the opportunity to re-new their add. We also want to be able to receive and send emails from the site for administration purposes. We want to be able to have banner advertising on all pages within the site. The other site will be the website of the radio program itself [[login to view URL]][2] . We are looking for an interesting, profesional appearance for this web presence. We want to send and receive emails from this site. We are intersted in banner advertising on the pages of this site also. We are also interested in Logo's and complete Image ideas for both of these sites. We are currently hosting these sites on [[login to view URL]][3] and have created them as a basic example of what we are interested in doing, we realize they are not professional or interesting and they are only presented to share our basic vision. We are looking for someone who can take our ideas and make them a reality with class. We are on a short time frame with these websites as the first program will air Saturday August 7th 2004. We are willing to accept a work in progress that is constantly improving over the years as our business developes and changes and we are looking for a long term realationship with our Web Developer and Host. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform We are obviously computer and internet novices and we will need to have the abillity make any administrative changes necesary from our end with basic windows software. We are coachable and willing to take advice and guidance from our Developer.
