We need two small flash applications that are very simple, and should be pretty simple to code. Both will go on the same page and are rectangles -- one vertical rectangle on the left, and one horizontal rectangle on the bottom, so there is a blank box in the middle that we can put content (as not to get confused, I made a JPG mock-up to visually show you, that will help out with the thought process). The whole project is to make a faux-webinar page. The flash box on the left side of the page holds a list of random made up users, about 8000 in total. They should cycle in and out (remove one, add one or two, then remove one, etc.). The number total should never go below 7750. That's literally all this one should do. The horizontal one across the bottom should do nothing more than log into an IRC server (I believe there are plenty of open-source flash based IRC programs on a simple Google search), join the channel #webinar, and act as the chat window. For a big example on an IRC flash client, visit this page: [login to view URL] We also want this as authentic as possible, so if at all possible, please don't show the MOTD and such when you normally connect to an IRC server..we ONLY want to show them the messages from the #webinar channel. If at all possible also, if you chill in the room from the example above for a while, you'll see messages from people leaving and joining the room. To filter those out, it would be awesome if we ONLY showed messages that start with "<", which would guarantee that it's a message. DO NOT WORRY about the users in the chat room -- as per a normal IRC client, there is a pane with a list of users in the chat room...we do not want it to be that complex. Simply nothing more than the actual chat window section itself. And guess what? That's it!! I'll worry about arranging it on the page and making it look cool. But if I had those two flash apps, then I can make it possible :) It's a time sensitive project, around a week would be pushing it, but the sooner the better. Open to fair suggestions, but seriously, throw me any dollar value you wan to right now and we will discuss. Thanks! -Kevin ## Deliverables We need two small flash applications that are very simple, and should be pretty simple to code.
