we have a flash website [login to view URL]
In our site there are two sections where we present our products (the green area) with relevant pictures and technical information and a link to the product's designer - which is presented in the blue area.
Currently, all products and designers are part of the flash file.
We have built a database (Sql Server) with all the information of all the products and all the designers and now we want the flash to read the products and designers from the database - that would allow us to add, delete and edit information about products and designers directly though the database with no need to do it from the flash file.
The jobs looked for includes re-programming the flash to read from the database the relevant information of the 2 sections - while keeping the site's design and look.
## Deliverables
Currenly we have a flash website [[login to view URL]][1].
Two of its sections green ??" collections and blue ??" designers ??" need to be connected to a sql database ??" which is already built.
? What we need to do is to connect the flash site to the database. I want to make sure the products and designers section in [[login to view URL]][1] will be updated through the database (inserting a designer/product to the DB will update the Flash site). THE DESIGN, FLASH AND ALL THE REST WILL HAVE TO STAY THE SAME !!!
? The project also includes re-adjusting the pink menu in the product green section as follows :
Currently ??" the upper pink menu specify the different categories and when you chose one you automatically get the first product in the chosen category and you can see the other only if you click on the next error >
? Once moving to a db there will have to be a change in the pink menu :
1.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? all categories titles (living, eating . . .) are to be read from the db
2.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? next to each category name there will be the total number of products in the category :
a .? ? ? ? ? ? living (5 )
b .? ? ? ? ? playing (4 )
and so on
3.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? once I role-over a certain category name there will open another pink square (to the right) specifying the different collections in the category and allowing me to chose the collection I want to see. When I chose the collection then another pink squre will open to the right specifying all products in that collection
4.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? once choosing a product the relevant ? info in the squares will open with the relevant product info (green, blue, yellow )
5.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? The same (1-3) applies to when you go to the blue sections (designers), when you role-over the arrow in the upper pink navigation square you get another pink square with the designers' list (which will be updated from the db ) ? ??" currently when you click on one you get his first product and have to navigate through them one by one. The change will be that :
a .? ? ? ? ? ? All designers name and info to be read from the db
b .? ? ? ? ? Next to every designer will appear the number of collections he has
c .? ? ? ? ? ? When you role-over his name there will open another pink square specifying all the designer collections ? and allowing the user to chose directly the collection he want to see ??" each collection has in brackets the number of products in it
d .? ? ? ? ? When you roll-over a collection another pink square will open to the right with all the products in that collection
6.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? when you see a full designer's profile you get to see all his products in the lower green square. That navigation feature should be done through the db
?
Product page
7.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? each detailed product page includes its picture(s) in the center, its designer (blue), description and technical info (in yellow) ??" all the content should be read from the db
8.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? we'll add to the product page a link to: products in that collections, in the same room and in the same category .
