Web crawler / spider data of Fortune500 firms

I need data crawled / spidered from the BusinessWeek website for a project at my university. On [login to view URL], go to [companies]. For each firm in the Fortune 500, I need some data. You can search for firms in the search box on the right. I assume you can find the Fortune 500 list by yourself. If you search for a given firm, you get different data tabs. I need the following data for each firm: tab snapshot: - firm name - firm abbreviation tab news: subtab show all: # of articles found tab financials: financial statements annual: income statement (everything) annual: balance sheet (everything) annual: cash flow ratios everything tab earnings annual revenue (bottom graph): 2005, 2006, 2007 tab people subtab: board of directors (everything: so names, #relationships, primary company (=equal to focal company if insiders), age Make sure that you treat the BusinessWeek site gently - no need for all out downloading attacks. I only need the data, so you can use any kind of script or app you like. Please deliver the data in Excel format (1 row = data from 1 firm). Use insightful column names so that I can understand what is what. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
