Shipping Module Modification

My [url removed, login to view] website is set up to sell my book with an OS Commerce shopping cart (using PHP/MySql) and currently calculates shipping based on the American distribution location. However, my publishing company also has affiliates in Canada, the UK and Australia, meaning that customers in those countries (as well as EU countries, which would be shipped from the UK, and New Zealand, which would be shipped from Australia) actually have their books printed and shipped from closer locations. The shipping modules (at least the UPS module, if not both) need to reflect that. I'm looking for a coder who can modify the shipping modules and interface so that if a customer from one of the above locations orders the book, it calculates shipping based on the location of their respective distributor (e.g. an order from the UK ships from the UK, not from the US), rather than from the United States. This way, potential customers are not scared away by expensive-sounding shipping costs.

## Deliverables

Modification of the current OS commerce UPS shipping module to reflect local shipping from Canada, the UK and Australia for customers in Canada, the UK/EU and Australia/New Zealand, respectively. Modification of the USPS shipping module to reflect local postal shipping for customers from the same countries. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform

The site is maintained at Ipowerweb on a Linux system. Updates are made on a Windows XP operating system using Dreamweaver. The site should be compatible with all major browsers, including IE, Firefox and Safari.
