Developement of a website is required that will be selling refurbished dell products. (desktop PC's, laptops, etc)
Besides the obvious frontent design, comprehensive inventory management and reporting facilities are required.
Furthermore upon completeion of the initial website, two further satellite webshops will be required to be developed wich will be selling AC Adapters/Chargers and batteries. These even though will on the surface look like seperate websites, the invoicing and management features must be integrated into the control panel of the original "[login to view URL]" website.
Please look at the attached zip file for a very BASIC idea of requirements.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR DEVELOPMENT TEAMS WHO WILL BE ABLE TO WORK ON THEIR OWN INITIATIVE AND COMFORTABLE WITH THIS SIZED PROJECT.
Also the work MUST be completed in the agreed timescales otherwise the coder may forfeit payment or incurr financial penalties.

## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

Thank you to all the coders that have submitted bids. I have gone through them and reviewed them. However before i discuss the project on a one-to-one basis with any of the bidders I would like to clarify a few points that have been raised.
1) The bid request is for ALL THREE websites. That being the main [login to view URL] site and the 2 smaller satellite sites for chargers/batteries. However the two smaller sites do not need to be developed until the end, and we can arrange payment in stages set at certain points of completion.
2) I have posted this project as a large project because I expect the bidders to develope ALL aspects of the sites, from the infrastructure to the graphics (ofcourse you are not expected to actually be inputting the products, except for dummy data for testing)
3) The credit card payment gateway to be used is direct with our bank HSBC, who will provide the coders with the details needed to integrate into the site
4)We are very clear in our requirements for this project and expect the winning bidder to work closely with us throughout to meet our requirements. The initial PDF that was posted was a BASIC summary of requirements. It was not a conclusive report. If we were to describe everything we wanted conclusively the report would run into many more pages. We are clear in our minds this is a large project and suggest potential bidders bear this in mind when posting bids.
5) the 60-day timescale is flexible within limits, however, whatever timescale we agree with the winning bidder must be strictly adhered to. The initial timescale is for the main [login to view URL] site, not the satellite sites.
6) We require the backend sales section to be very similar in look/feel/operation/functionality to "selling manager pro" on Ebay. If you do not have access to ebay, we can provide you access so you may analysi it.
7) We expect your bid to include after-completion support to an extent to iron out any bugs and minor amendments. We do not want to be paying extra for issues that arise from the site not working properly or bugs in the code or database. Any major amendments ofcourse we will pay extra for. We will use the time spent in using the two satellite sites as beta-testing time on the main [login to view URL] site.
