Need Textbox for OSCommerce 2.0

I have the latest version of oscommerce--v.2.0. I used to have 1.7, but upgraded and did not know that 1.7 didn't have the textbox option for product attributes. I need the textbox product attribute option added. I don't know how much work this requires--it could be simple or more time-consuming, but since my business is based on personalization, I need to be able to allow my customers to type in their personalized text for each product instead of typing it all in the "comments" box during checkout. I would like a coder to be able to tell me what they need to do before they do it. I've had errors that have resulted from miscoding, so I need to be able to get as much info so that if a coder messes up, I want to be able to get it fixed. Thanks! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working shopping cart in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows: a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). 4)If extra work is required to make site completely fuctional, seller must explain in detail prior to beginning work. 5)Seller must state a deadline by which the work will be completed and the website fully functional. 6) If seller makes any mistakes in the coding, he/she must correct and debug at no additional cost and complete within 7 business days.
