GUI to be written in BCGSoft

An interface written some time ago needs to be re-written, specifically so that it loads quickly. An application already in existence, using BCG, loads as slowly as MS word does at startup. This makes it essentially too annoying to use for small tasks. What is required is the same interface to be created, with the buttons, tabbed MDI capability, but no actual functionality aside from the ability to create the windows, buttons and to save and load the same look after user manipulation, each time. For example a user opens the application, opens 2 new blank mdi windows, leaves one tab sliding window at the side open, then ? closes. On re-opening, the same layout of windows appears in the same screen locations. Essentially you have 2 jobs 1. Re-create the layout of the buttons and windows, but without functionality on clicking on them (aside from popups to say that they have been clicked). 2. Save and re-load that layout, with a save/load time similar to programs such as Thunderbird and Wordpad... e.g. less than 3 seconds ideally. You will need to be familiar with BCG to do 1, and we will give you the image files and old (too slow) app to know the layout. You may have to write your own class to do 2. No memory, GDI etc leaks allowed Unicode Compatible ## Deliverables The application is an MFC one. Unmanaged code Commented every 1-3 lines. No Memory, Resource, GDI, User Object leaks acceptable. Payments to be delivered for 1/3 for first basic draft with load save 1/3 for adding in button images that I give you. 1/3 for accepted final. No setup program required - should be a single .exe as output. It should save a file titled [login to view URL], which has the data for loading and saving the files. On acceptance, I will give you the names of the classes that you will derive from BCG for the various windows...? BCG trial version is active for 30 days. The work will need to be started and finished within the 30 day BCG trial period if you do not have a copy that you already own.
