The task is to develop an application, in C++, that uses **DirectX 8.1 or DirectX 9.0** and demonstrates the following aspects of real-time 3D graphics.
3D motion
· Camera control
· Simple texturing
· Collision detection
· Animation.
The program must run from C:\Temp.
A possible scenario would be to explore a set of interconnected buildings located on a flat terrain. Find specific items such as powerups and weapons. Place camera consoles in different rooms - activating a camera console allows you to view different rooms from a single location. Some cameras could be moved from the consoles, others could exhibit automatic scanning motion. Place suspended guns in selected rooms that fire on the unsuspecting player. Place obstacles such as simple tables to demonstrate collision detection and response.
